Weekend Getaway to West Virginia

Rented a cabin back in June for this weekend at a place called "Cabins At Pine Haven" just outside Beckley, WV. This is my 3rd trip to the area and as always, absolutely beautiful. I have a thing for structures and one of the most magnificent I've ever seen is in the area, New River Gorge Bridge. Sadly, the weather wasn't cooperative. We dealt with rain, sleet, ice & snow. If you ever find yourself looking for a quick weekend getaway, consider this place.

If your in Beckly, hit the gulley river. They realease the damn and flood the gorge. Best white water rafting in all of North America this time of year. Like five class 5 rapids and a number if 4's. We head up there from florida every year in Nov to raft!
