I'm not 100% sure if this is where I should post this so just move it if it's not. I need to order my drag wheel setup this week and I'm stuck between the RTS and the bogarts, I priced them out and they are really close with tires too so cost is not an issue. Only thing I heard about the bogarts is you can't run them on the street but iv also heard guys doin it anyways without problems. I plan on running whatever I get on the streets 1-2 days out of the week. I'm just looking to get some ideas on which ones to go with. Thanks

I had the Weld RTS and was very pleased with the quality and looks. Very nice wheels. Before that I had Race Stars and they are crap.

If I were to go it over again i'd look at Weld magnum's or bogarts. I really like my rts wheels, but too many people have them.

I know several guys that use bogarts and magnum wheels on the street without issues.

Ok well I plan on getting the 17's up front I like the look better then the 15's. Also for the rears what size tire should I go with? It's an 05 gt making 800+whp thru an F1A

With the potholes and crappy roads around here I'd do the welds. Bummer because the bogarts have to be quite a bit lighter.

We have the D10s on a race only car and they are supper lite, look good but I wouldn't run them on the street.

How much street driving did u do with them?

I drove back and forth to the track probably 2-3 times a month for about a year with the bogarts, the drive is about a 50/50 split between freeway and surface streets, probably 15-20 miles round trip. With the skinny's you have to watch for potholes and take the corners really slow, the rears I didn't worry about. If you want to use them on the street I would go with something wider than a 15x4.5 for the front. Here is a couple of pics, sorry they are a little fuzzy.

IMO Bogarts are a better track wheel, Welds better for all around, if you will drive them on the streets consistently, get the Welds for piece of mind.

I like the look of those too, what size tires are you running on that setup? I'm leaning more towards the bogarts now Il prolly just not cruise around on them, I would pretty pissed if I put a dent on these lol

Rears: 28x11.5x15
Fronts (I think) 28x4.5x15

Does it need the rear sway bar relocation for that size tire? They have that option when ordering I wasn't sure
