Mowed the yard for the first time in 2 weeks. That was a bitch . Went to Home Depot and bought a new door for the house into the garage. Gonna put it in on wed. Got a HUGE gap that's A/Cing the garage.

Well it poures yesterday and washed a bunch of the dirt we put in the backyard down into the creek. If I wanted it to rain it wouldn't for months.

Building a headboard for my bed. Here is the progress so far....

Still need to screw down the top piece, final sand, add moulding, and stain.

still working on my front lawn in a project i call "operation lawn(i) freedom. basically the grass was crap crab grass so i let it die, plus it was over ridden with weeds that had little burs that would get all over the place in the house and cars. also the people that had rented the house prior to me destroyed the spinkler system so i've been digging up the pipes and searching for breaks and even just finding half the spinklers as most were burried. it's taking me months as i work close to 100hr work weeks and we've had 100* heat.

anyways made some progress yesterday, found 3 or 4 sprinklers and got some to actually spray some water. half dont work so thats another days if not more worth of work.

Redid the flower beds, pressure washed everything, getting her ready to put on the market as long as things pan out with this other house.

Damn James! That's going to be an awesome piece of property once you get it all setup.

I mowed my grass over the weekend...that's all. I was a slackass.

I installed a new kitchen faucet last night.

Out with the old leaky Delta

In with the new American Standard loveliness...

I would have preferred to do new countertops and sink at the same time but the money just isn't there right now and the old faucet was leaking all over the place.

Well last weekend me and my fiancés dad, uncle, mom, aunt and my parents started mudding everything that had not been done yet and went over some of the other. After Saturday and Sunday of that I had enough of mudding so I called a guy that does work for my dad and he came and gave me a price to finish it out(looks 1000x better than I probably couldn't finished it) he just finished up today. So starting tomorrow I'm gonna get the drywall dust up and start priming and painting. Also got a call from the company shipping ky cabinets and they get delivered on the 14th

You can call them 1-800-345-DELTA and they will send you free replacement parts since it's supposed to have a lifetime guarantee on it but I didn't feel like messing with it anymore and my American Standard rep at work hooked me up.

Good to know but I like you're solution better anyways. I don't know how many times I bang a plate on the faucet because it's too low. I've broken several items washing them in putting them on the other side only to bang the faucet in between.

Primed most of the living room 2 times and finished up staining the wood that is going on that beam in the 2nd pic. Also primed the kitchen but will have to go back over it tomorrow.

Last week my mother in-law got her landscaping friend to come clean out all the flower beds, all the weeds (alot), trimmed some plant and dug up a bunch of flowers that were to cluttered. Today i got a couple loads of mulch and went to town. Love the way it looks now, some spots do need more flowers but for now im happy.
