Installed my cat delete pipes today. Had to replace all four studs coming off the manifolds since Ford booby traps them to strip out if you try to remove the nuts. I managed to cut the H pipe in the correct spots and my mechanic lent me the pipe flaring tool so I could clamp the pipes together properly.

It really woke the car up, I'm now getting a lot of gurgling and backtalk when I let off the throttle.

I love how the mod motor sounds like it's trying to talk while under water.

Cleaned the throttle body and reinstalled the tune. Is still has the fluctuating idle, dropping all the way down to 300 and almost stalling. I think it might be because of the cold weather, though...at least I hope that's it.

No codes?

Nope. It didn't have that problem when it was warmer out. Just started recently when it has been 55F or less. Nothing has changed on the car over the past several months either.

It doesn't have the problem after the car has been running for several minutes.

hopefully no damage

nope, luckily.

Changed lanes quickly, to avoid a car cutting out in front of me that crossed 2 lanes just to drive at a crawl, over standing water on the access road since they're doing a lot of construction in the area.

People are so F'n stupid. Wait til the last minute to go, and cut across everyone, AND dont even try to match the speed of the flow. WTF?

after searching my ass off for days for a shift boot with black stitching, i decided to bust out my knowledge of sewing and do my own stitch. came out flawless.. is now black with red stitching.. if anybody wants to dress it up a little bit this is a cheap and easy way to do so

Installed a set of Krank Vents check valves and a Mishimoto catch can. Hopefully I can have a PCV system without the fumes from the breathers (or the oil smoke when the breathers get soaked).

Was this difficult? I've been thinking about this for a while.

It takes about 10 minutes to remove the gauges. PATS has to be disabled if your not going to run stock gauges. I'm installing a 5" Autometer tach and speedo in the stock location.

Got me a new FRPP S/C aluminator shortblock from a local guy who ended up buying a new 5.0 Boss. This block will end up in the Bullitt and the Shelby GT will get the Brenspeed B302 shortblock that I bought earlier this year.

Forged sex in a box! :leghump: Somebody give me a "hell yeah"!
