I had to find a battery so that I could pop the trunk and get some camping chairs out. Damn things had been missing in action since I put the car up on jack stands, and I finally remembered where I had put them.

The trunk still has a functional keyhole. :thumb2:

Finally got the turbo off to get sent in to be checked out. Not as complicated as I thought it would've been.

Gatorade to stay hydrated, check. Mountain Dew to stay alert, check. Beer to celebrate completed task, check. Okay you've got all your bases covered proceed with turbo removal

What did you get???????

Well, I wanted everything to be regular black, so since BMR only has hammertone they were out unfortunately. After asking a few local guys at my track what worked for them I went with UPR relocation brackets since their new ones use the thickest steel out there, and UMI LCA's since I had them on my previous F-Body and liked them a lot.

Started the clutch install...

Old and worn...

Found out why my clutch was slipping. Lining wore down all the way to the pin and ended up scoring the pressure plate to hell. There were overheated areas all over the place too...

The new goodies going in tomorrow... RXT w/heavy flywheel
