Where for a custom tune in Houston?

Hey guys!

New to the site here...

I have a new 2009 Roush 427. (Pause for applause...)

Asking around, I have heard that the Roush tune is fairly conservative and can get better performance with a custom tune.

Where would be a goo dplace to get a custom tune done in Houston?

no extra eqt, std 427, supercharger, intercooler, etc....

Any suggestions?

I saw some bad comments on Houston performance in another forum. Will try and remember where to get other opinions.

Just need some word of mouth info to boost comfort level before I go to a place.

Just got tuned by Dyno Joe on Saturday. Top notch guy, and invites a lot of interaction during the session. He went the extra mile to work out some kinks in the A/F ratio too.

Dyno Joe Performance is located at Shepard and 17th.

Yeah, after you get it tuned in Houston, I would definitely recommend a drive to Dallas to let her run a little.

I can't speak much for the other three, but good effing luck trying to get in with PSI. They're super busy all the time.

Some have said they have had bad experiences with him. Though I can only vouch for him with good things, he has always done well by me.

Sportlines...... not the best drag racing springs but they do look dam good.

Fastlane does alot of S197 GT's they do the best work but are the most expensive.

Strictly Performance does great with 4 Valve Motors not so well with the 3 Valve. I have seen lots of great Cobra's but not so much for S197 GT's, PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

PSI Motorsports same deal as Strictly good with 4 Valves and thats it.

Houston Performance shouldn't even be on the list as a tuner they are no good.

I brought my car to Fastlane and couldn't be happier. Nick did an awesome job on the tune.
