The bfg's aren't cutting it right now.

they are 325/50/15's and i want more bite, best 60 has been a 1.67, then, it either spins, or i drop the r's down and run 1.71's 1.72's

obviously a full slick would be best, but i want to be able to drive the car there

On the bfg site, it says section width, 13", (is that the middle bulge of the tire) on the ones i have (no tread width)

I ask because on the racestars, the car has to be jacked from the pumpkin for them to fit, the shock tower bulges a bit, but they fit ok

i don't want anything wider, but i want the most tire i can fit

the hoosier quick time pro 28x13.5x15 says sec width is 12.9 (tread width of 11)

the 28x11.5 says sec width is 11.5 (tread width of 10)

is the 13.5 overkill?? whadya think?

the nice thing on the q/t pros is they are 20 pounds in the 11.5, 22 in the 13.5 where the bfg's are 35 each, so, looking at cutting between 52 to 60lbs of rotational weight as well

i run the 27/10.5/15 quick time pro's. the 11.5 imho is plenty width for any car that can be driven on the street. im pushing 565 to my tires and the 10.5 dead hook for me. quick time pro's FTW

personally i would go with M&H. I've had nothing but good success with them and have pulled 1.4 sixty foot times

Yep, I pulled 1.41-1.43 60' times with the M&H 325s.

Ken3030 ran the Hooisers and had great luck with them as well---his only feedback was they were gone after only less then 30 passes. They are really soft.
