They said the L&M dual 66mm TB is good for something like, 1200HP, so I would imagine the 65 would be pretty high up there too.

The L&M throttle body arrived yesterday. After pulling the old one off last night I notice a few more differences than just the the plastic and brass gears.

1st thing I noticed was that the blades are shaped differently. The Whipple TB blades are circular and the L&M blades are oval shaped.

2nd thing that was noticeable to me was the amount of tension or drag of the TB blades. The Whipple blades "feel" heavier. Also in this pic you can tell there is a substantial size difference in the twin 75mm and the 72mm. Because of design of the L&M there is no need for the Whipple TB spacer. I really believe the Whipple is just too big for my application and contributing to my problems. I'll have it installed this afternoon and update if my idle and RPM problems are solved or not.

I'm curious to see how the 72mm daily drives. I was torn between the 66 & 72, but decided to go with the 66 as I doubt I'll ever see 1200 HP with my car.....

Hanging RPMs have been resolved! I returned the car to stock then reloaded the tune to "relearn" the PCM and put about 50 miles on it. It Idles high around 1100 - 1200 RPM which I know Chris can fix in my tune. Thanks for everyone's input! I now have a Whipple twin 75mm TB for sale!

I have the Whipple twin 75mm on a 3.4 doing the same thing as well. They are taking this one back and sending a new one with a plastic gear set. Hopefully this will correct the issue, if not I'll be ordering the L&M.
