You must be making ridiculous power on the 2nd half, only 6.04 in the 1/8th, my 6.02 1/8 were good for only 9.3's @ 151

Corrct. My 1/8th mile pass was @ Holly Springs! The other et was from a 1/4 mile pass on slicks. I fixed the post, wasnt finished and clicked..

I noticed those 5.0s make tons of hp, but at such a high rpm. That is where all the mph comes in. What kind of torque did you car make. I want to comare yours to mine on paper. Thanks

You are correct. Ran another day and it ran 9.37 @ 148.98 mph. This before I changed tune though.

i think you'd be 2 to 3 tenths short on the dr's based on the 1/8 mile. :)
Yes.. But as stated on 18" dragradials. on the 275/60/15 it goes 5.78@ 123.98mph..lol 8.98@ 154.. So it would be close.. Slicks only picks up 60 ft

Your car hauls ass btw. Your the only one that even come close to the ets I had... Mine still have power steering and a/c ... I didnt see yours have that at route 66. LOL.. I was spying and talked to you when you were runing 9.63 dial ins that day and won the class.. Have you ever thought of gear change and try a slick? Might like it ALOT!

There is nothing deleted off of my car. It still has a/c, power steering (these have an elec unit), 500w stereo, back up camera, sync, bluetooth, cruise,

I LOVE my a/c,

Chris cruz ran an 8.99 on full slicks at MIR, that was with about 6 more psi than me though, his car is fast too.

I always deep stage at the events, knocks off about .3 in the 1/4. Foot braking an auto, gotta deep stage for the r/t

I was also running 315/60/15's there (29.7 tall).

My best of the year had been 9.27@151. I was going through the traps at 151 / 6850 or so rpm. When we let off @ 7500 the car is still making power. I originally thought the 28" might be too small, but decided to give them a whirl, looking at the calculations, I thought it might be perfect, i have a pretty good gear calculator on my site. and it turned out to be just right at taking me through about 7350 or so.

I really don't have any interest in slicks. I'm hoping to build a stronger block over the winter, put on the ysi, and make about 1200rwhp consistently through the auto, and running some mid 8's.

I have the fuel system for it. Just need a block now.

plan on a 3.31 to 3.15 swap depending on how much power she lays out
What I meant by a better 60ft on a slick, this made my et go from 8.90's to 8.70's and better. Yours will be wicked when finished. More hp and a block? Cant wait to see results. When your all said and done you will go faster on a drag radial anyways. Time and patience will prevail..

Your car and those Street Radial Pros are impressive. Were you running a 15x10?

What are you planning for a stronger block?

A ysi is kinda like an f1a procharger. It's a big badass centurifical blower. Lol.
