After Thurs. I have plenty of time to get it replaced. The pulley on it started wobbling, so I covered the car until I could get to it. I REALLY miss driving my beautiful vert in this kind of weather.:whistle1: don-ohio (:^)

A/C & Heater need 15-20 min to turn on

Could you possibly have low coolant and the level rises as it warms up and allows heat? I would make sure your coolant has no air pockets in the radiator or block. Some kind of switch is not getting the signal. I've never seen this happen before so I'm taking a stab that the coolant might be...

No heat to the floor vents

I have many Haynes manuals and don't find them useless, but just incomplete. I have the full set of Ford shop manuals for my 2 Lincoln LSes(which are very tricky to repair), but since I don't plan on any big problems with the Stang, I haven't seen need to buy the books. Thanks for the link...

BMR Suspension New Product - Rod End S197 Upper Control Arm - UTCA038

BMR Tech, when you folks gonna make an aftermarket support brace for the 05-09 and later Mustang Convertibles? I was fortunate here and found 2 in great condition, but it would be nice for everyone if you had some available. I've seen your weld-on braces, but I wanted bolt-on like Ford...

    Hit a small deer.

It was following its Mom..............I didn't see the Doe cross. Did 900 dollars damage. It's in the shop now. Funny thing was, a few days before, a stupid woman was unloading her groceries with her cart pinned against my front bumper. She left a mark in the paint, which MAYBE woulda buffed out...

    Charge cable burnt

Battery shorted? Hoping that's all it was,a shorted battery,,but check the alternator's output to be less than 15 volts usually with a fully charged battery. I ruined a JC Penny FOREVER battery once with a bad voltage regulator, overcharging. don-ohio (:^)

    Fuel Tank Issues

I fill mine up fully by topping off and with 100K on my 05,never a problem. I DON'T stand there and squeeze every cent I can get into it,but I make it click off at least 3 or 4 times. No emissions problems ever. don-ohio (:^)

Tonight I'll check her out on the 25 mi trip to work. Like you say,86, sometimes we get a big surprise on a `SIMPLE' job. don-ohio (:^)

Power steering leak- tomorrow I diagnose it.

Wow! It turned into a chore. The fittings were stuck and bent my 1/2" line wrench, so I dremel cut the line off at the fittings and pounded a 1/2" six-point socket on them. THAT worked, but then the old gaskets were still inside the bosses, so I got the one out with a dental scraper pick, but...

Got my part! Going out NOW to replace the line, draining and refilling while I'm at it. Fittings have had PB Blaster soaking in all night. don-ohio (:^)

Power steering leak- tomorrow I diagnose it.

Thanks,Texas! I looked at it today.....put it up on the lift and surprised me! The solid steel line that is mounted on the rack and pinion had started leaking near the steering shaft. Looked like rusty to me. I pulled the boot off the inner tie rod to check also, but no leak there...

Power steering leak- tomorrow I diagnose it.

The Mustang developed a power steering fluid leak a coupla weeks ago. It leaked slowly last week, so I waited until I was to be off work to look at it. Hoping it's just a hose. It has 100K miles on it,so it could be anything. don-ohio (:^)
