true, I guess for newer cars it's a lot more of the norm. I'm doing it with a 4.6 2v though so it's a bit more interesting with the less advanced heads...
you're guess is as good as mine. I check the hoses all the time to make sure they're good. just straight up blew a huge hole in the top of the hose. luckily there was no one around me and I didn't lose traction from getting antifreeze all over the tires. all in all, for as bad as it was, things...
I blew a radiator hose yesterday in probably one of the most epic breakdowns I've ever had. Blew a hole in it, antifreeze all over my windshield plus smoke billowing all over while I was on the freeway going 80mph. musta been a helluva sight to see lol
how much is the dyno tune? if that's the case that you can get the tune for that cheap, go for the dyno tune IMO. you can get a base tune normally from the tuner to get it to the dyno or just get a tow =]
I never said you can tune ANY car with the narrowband. At the same time I never said you couldn't either and that's my fault for not being descript. In the OP's situation was my point I was trying to get across. A relatively mild n/a setup with small cams is able to be tuned without a wideband...
haha thanks man I got it covered. working with the chemical tonight and allowing it to sit with the windows and doors open overnight before I get started tomorrow (in a well ventilated garage)
