    ...before you changed the clutch ..You didn´t have the shift issues -right ? So my first idea is that the linkage (shifter ) is /has / makes the trouble.

    thank you guys ..for all your answers. So at the end of the day , the only way to go is a nice fiber hood . Unfortunatly here in Germany nearly impossible to find for a good price. The steel hood is around 500 USD .... a fiber hood.... 2000 USD or even more.:(

    OEM parts... I always try to use them. Meanwhile I stock a lot of parts... from a OEM clutch ...lower control arms ( Ford Racing ) all coolant /heater hoses ( Motorcraft ) clutch master from a 13 GTKR.... Wheel bearings ( Timken ) and so on... and so on... I own also 3 old Alfa Romeo...

    Adding external relay

    @JC SSP undersize wiring - that s what I was talking about. So the best advise is to make a "upgrade " with stronger wires BEFORE the OEM one are going "south " A good relay and thicker wires from battery to the relay..going to the fan.... using the OEM Wires only for the impulse to operate...

    ..about the burnt pin. I think the wire that runs from the relay to the fan motor is "weak" ..or lets say the diameter is "on the edge " Perhaps it is a good idea to "upgrade the OEM wire that runs from the relay to the fan motor - one or two steps up.. in diameter. ??? Just an idea.....

    Besides the electric fan... I would like to have a "real fan ". Like back in the old days. My 1990 Fox Body had a true riged fan. Bolted on the waterpump... I am thinking about doing a "swap" . Perhaps someone here already had the same idea ? A fan clutch ( thermal ) a fan... and a shroud...

    ..the trigger wire should be the wire that appears in the fuse box... . The trigger wires are the ones with BLUE Marks. in the video they are located on the left side...

    @ Racer47 .... does it mean, that I can use the "old /OEM slave cylinder with the GT 500 Master Cylinder with no further modifications.. ? If so... it sounds like a "well worth the pain" upgrade....

    ... I will try to find a MOBIL OIL Dealer... here in Germany. Perhaps he can order "Mobil allbrands syth. ATF " .. What a pitty that Tremec didn´t made tests with Amsoil ATF . Amsoil has a "General Dealer " here in Germany..

    I use Amsoil XL 5w30 Boosted ... good stuff. Coolant : Ford stuff only. as for the brakes.. on the reservoir is written DOT3 only. That´s why I am using the Amsoil Brake fluid. DOT4+ would be better for me to get around here. They sell the DOT at every corner.....

    so ... I will use the MERCON V ATF. @GriffX ato24.de is where I buy my oil. For Engine and Diff -I use AMSOIL only... Brake Fluid also AMSOIL only.

    Thinking about an oil change... so I searched for the "right " transmission oil. Came up with two different types of oil. The "Old DEXRON 3 " should be mineral based.. or the Mercon 5 which should be a synthetic oil. Some say the old DEX 3 is better, because it is not so slippery I can buy...

    forgot to say... without the thermostat, the milage goes south. Because the ECM is permanently in the " cold start mode ". not so good.

    leave the thermostat where it belongs. IN your car. If you remove the thermostat...your engine will suffer ... the engine needs to reach a certain operating temperature of around 190-195 deg F ( water temp ) so the engine oil also goes up to the same temp.... a good idea is to use 5w30 weight...
