Thanks, plan on applying the reload tomorrow. What kind of durabilty are you personally getting out of it?

    sealant or equivalent

Thats just my .02. I personally just think it is over hyped (a lot of CG stuff is). If you still decide you might want to try JS, let me know. I have a slightly used bottle I could sell you. Using BL then JS is kind of a waste isnt it? The JS will not actually be contacting the surface since...

    Is this price fair?

Good luck and take before and after pics. If it wasn't black, I would suggest opti coat. 900 for a FULL detail and application doesn't seem to bad IMO (Should be at least a 2 step though). Consider it an investment, especially if you plan to keep the car for a long time but also if you go to...

    sealant or equivalent

I am getting ready to try Reload this weekend on my Opti coated car as well as on a G35 I am detailing next week, have heard from many people (some on here, 28ONE) that it is great stuff. BFWD is a good go to but I haven't used them in a long time, I think they changed their formula a few years...

I use Ultima Tire and Trim Guard. A little expensive ($27 a bottle) but well worth it IMO

Applied Opti Coat 2.0 (Pic heavy)

^ nice. Let me know what you think of it. I love the coating so far, easy to wash and sheets very well. The beading is ok, IMO, but I am used to sealants and wax which bead very nicely. I have had bird shit a few times on my hood and it wipes off with no effort, even after a few days. I am...

Best wax for a black car. 2006 GT

Looks good 007GTCS but the JS layered on top of the BL is overkill. The BL does not have a long life and the JS cannot bond to the paint so once the BL wears off the JS will go along with it. BL has a better shine IMO then JS but JS has a longer life/durability. Just trying to help save you a...

Best wax for a black car. 2006 GT

Is the paint in good condition? If so, I would go with a non filler wax or sealant. If it has scratches, try CG's Blacklight/Lava combo, has some good fillers and great shine. If you get wax/sealant in the paint chips they may look white and become more obvious. If you can, fill them in prior...

    New Car Smell

Lol. The stripper scent is actually good smelling IMO. I also have they apple odor eliminator which I like. The Citrus is ok, more of a chemical smell to me. Like HitandRun said, give the stripper scent a try.

    New Car Smell

Try the leather scent from CG's, I have heard it smells similar to a new car smell, if its leather of course. I have noticed their smells dont last very long though. They also have a new car smell, as mentioned above. Or the stripper scent? lol
