Suspension seems to have no travel when hitting potholes or bumps

Simply look under the car and see how far the axle sits from the frame in the rear. i'd bet good money the stock bump stops are completely gone in the rear and the metal axle is hitting the metal frame. post a side shot of the car, i bet it's lowered quite a bit.

    07 SGT tune help

I don't know what procharger includes with their kit for tuning. A one point whipple was having people send them their ecm and they flashed it and sent it back next day air, then they started to include their own tuner. Like i said, brenspeed would be the ones to ask. i'm sure they have sold...

    07 SGT tune help

Email brenspeed and tell them what you got. they will tell you what you need. Your car is essentially a stock gt. the sct handheld tuner will save your stock tune no matter what is on the car, then it will upload the supercharger tune. It really is not hard to install any supercharger on these...

    07 SGT tune help

As someone mentioned the tune on your car is a stock tune as far as the sct tuner device is concerned that would come with your supercharger kit. it doesn't care that it's a shelby GT. I think eldebrock is the only PD blower kit available anymore for the 3v's. you could install this yourself...

Airbag light on, no apparent reason

I assume you mean ecm? I thought only dealers could read airbag codes? some safety bs. Your clockspring in the steering will could have failed or failing. does the cruise still work?

    Replaced battery, crank no start

Are the plugs visibly wet after trying to crank it? you are missing one of the key elements for some reason, either no spark or no fuel. Is the battery fully charged and able to crank the engine fast enough? Is this a manual? Might try bypassing the clutch switch just to rule it out. you say you...

    05’ GT new battery

did you upgrade the cable from the alternator when you got the 200a? I think the stock wire is 6 or 8awg and 4awg is recommended for a 200a alternator. Just make your own out of 2awg cable for power and ground and be done with it. https://www.batterycablesusa.com/2-gauge-awg-battery-cable-red

Lito tune vs Diablo Sport canned tunes.

Get a tuner from a real shop like brenspeed. Diablosport is not a mustang shop. Will you feel a difference between a brenspeed tune and a lito tune in a car with mufflers? I seriously doubt it. Lito is well know for remote tuning cars with a lot of mods. The bonus when using an actual mustang...

Might be go big or go home time on my '06

I've been using royal purple 10w30 HPS in my SC'd 06 for years. Since i don't start the car below 50F I didn't see any reason to use 5w30. 10w30 should have a slightly higher film strength since it starts life as a 10 weight oil. I have major traction issues below 50F so i just don't drive the...

Might be go big or go home time on my '06

Get oem idlers or stake the inside lip so the pulley can't fly off the bearing! I ended up getting an oem idler after this happened and my 100mm idler from whipple didn't have a lip on the inside edge so i staked that mother after changing the bearing just like you would a castle nut on an...

    4.6 misfire no codes

tried to show where i added the extra engine ground, but it's hard to see. Seems i used 1awg for it because i wanted all the cables from battery to starter to be the same size, but that's overkill for the ground wire. I hope you replaced the alternator with a 2010 or a pa performance. Any of the...

    4.6 misfire no codes

Clean all the grounds if you haven't all ready! Add an additional ground from motor mount to frame rail. I used one of the wire loom holes in the frame on the passenger side and just threaded in a self tapping bolt that came off the car some other place. Installed a 4awg ground wire there just...

anyone have an intermittent leak at their clutch line?

I have either the mcleod or the SR stainless line. It has black anodized fittings on each end. After changing the oring it's still leaking a tiny bit. i ordered a new elbow from LMR so if anyone needs a stock clutch line i'm getting one with my $44 plastic elbow. I could have ordered a $65...

anyone have an intermittent leak at their clutch line?

I want to be as transparent as possible so future people don't waste their time. The 010 oring is working so far, but after careful measurement with a pair of digital calipers i believe the oring used on my stainless line is 1.78mm thickness, the 010 size is 1.74mm. I ordered a metric size that...

anyone have an intermittent leak at their clutch line?

    Slave cylinder shimming

This^^^ Get torque limiters and or stiffer motor mounts and your high rpm shifting will be butter smooth. No reason to shim the slave if everything is stock. Some people may have high rpm shifting problems from not properly bleeding the clutch too. I would get a vacuum pump that attaches to the...

anyone have an intermittent leak at their clutch line?

Everyone and their mother sells a stainless clutch line for the mustangs, but nobody sells the orings. I ordered an assortment of epdm orings and hope one is the right size.

anyone have an intermittent leak at their clutch line?

I have a braided stainless line. I think the oring is wore out causing a leak if any pressure is put on it. I can not find any information online about the oring size for these things. I was looking for my stock line in the garage to measure the orings, but i think i threw it out.

anyone have an intermittent leak at their clutch line?

ughhh! does anyone know what size o-rings the stock line uses? I assum it's the same for aftermarket lines. Can't find my stock line anywhere.

anyone have an intermittent leak at their clutch line?

Waiting for a set of picks and then i'm going to pull that sucker, change the o-ring and put the line into the elbow then put the elbow on the transmission so there is zero chance of dirt getting in there. The o-ring may just be worn. It's the stainless steel line from mcleod or steeda and it's...
