If a driveshaft is slightly longer, wouldnt it just slide further onto the output shaft of the tranny? I know you cant have it bottom out and need to allow for travel, but maybe this is why a stock GT shaft will physically work, but is not recommended?

Thanks for all the input. Ill def. be upgrading in the near future. I was going to buy the "kit" that included everything for the swap but I see many people claim the stock length driveshaft will work fine with the TR6060??? I have a one piece aluminum shaft that I prefer to keep if it will work.
