GT500 rear control arms -- hardware??

I saw them, but being in Canada, they wouldn't be here in time for my jobber to do. I went to another dealer closer to me. $40 for the bolts and I'll reuse the nuts. At least i know they're the proper ones. I've also read, 130ft/lbs? Thx a bunch guys, you're the best!!!

GT500 rear control arms -- hardware??

Well, I should be able to at least re use the old nuts, or should I replace em? Car has 200k and the bushings have been fkd for 5 months.......fkd like there's play in the axle fkd. Thats why i would think the stock bolts would be screwed as well because of the play it has. Not very nice to...

    Sway bar bushing help

Thx eba. Yea, that's the only thing that would make sense. Weird tho that the bushing wouldn't be as "thick" being on a boss 302. I'll pull the trigger!

    Sway bar bushing help

I'm buying the boss sway bar kit from Ford. Comes with the bar and both sets of bushings. Now, the gt bar is 22mm and the boss bar is 25mm but I can't seem to find the corresponding bracket for the smaller bushings. I went to ford yesterday and he said re use your old brackets. Seems odd...

    Torque steer -- moderate throttle

Whoops, ha.....3link. I'm used to my chevelle and gbody Btw, I looked for a ford racing upper, but there's nothing but oem replacement or arms with poly bushings (bmr, whiteline etc.) Any takers? If the problem are the lca's, I Midas well replace the upper too

the front steers to the left and is noticeable even with moderate throttle. The car has been lowered for 3 years with NO relocation kit and has had no issues until a couple months ago.

    Torque steer -- moderate throttle

Hey guys, if I deem the lca's to be the problem, should I do the uppers as well????

    Torque steer -- moderate throttle

Yea I don't want any road noise or vibration either which I've read throughout the years "can" happen with poly bushings. Again, my car has 180+k on it. No more hard launches. Some good pulls here n there, having some fun. Shit, I'm still running the stock clutch lol

    Torque steer -- moderate throttle

Yea, I've driven many front drive cars with "torque steer", and this problem resembles that effect on a minor scale. Didn't really know how to explain the symptoms in a rear drive application. It's an excuse to spend some money on the old girl! Thx a bunch guys!!

    Torque steer -- moderate throttle

This place wasn't a suspension shop, I just asked him to take it for a rip and see if he had any ideas. This place was a tranny place where I got the pinion seal replaced. I guess he knows fk all in the way of suspensions lol

    Torque steer -- moderate throttle

I replaced my front control arms when I did my springs and shocks due to worn ball joints. It tracks well, alignment was spot on (3 years ago), no accidents, curbing etc. I've been a low on diff fluid due to the pinion seal leaking, so maybe I'll have to give it some time since the diff is...

    Torque steer -- moderate throttle

Hey guys, I hope one of you can help me out. 2006 GT convertible with 182k, lowering springs, new shocks, adjustable panhard bar 3 years ago. Under light > moderate throttle, the car pulls to the left, let off the gas and comes back to the right. Tracks fine once settled again. No extensive...

    Are black wheels still "in"?

I had in my mind they were 10.5s but just took em off today @10". The only way I'd go with a 305 is if they were the narrower Nittos. I have a wtb ad on marketplace and cl for tires, but if new, my heart is set on the Indys (bang 4 buck factor).

    Are black wheels still "in"?

From the price checking I've done on the Indy 500s the 35 sidewall is cheaper by a lot for some reason. I'm lowered on a prokit, but I can't see having a "bit" taller sidewall being an issue

    Are black wheels still "in"?

I attribute anthracite to be like a gunmetal grey. That would probably be my only other choice.....I have so much black on my car because of the vert roof. I want a change, but the black ties in so nicely
