boost or bust
Picked up a 2023 F-150 XL, 4x4 5.0 as a daily driver. The idea was to have reliable but fun daily transportation that could still haul stuff. That lasted exactly one day.

Decided to see what it would do bone stock, with 87 in the tank, using my dragy. It didn’t disappoint.
Decided to run E85, build my own cold air, remove the catback, spare tire, jack and use Forscan to enter a shorter tire size to gain more trap speed (thank you internet)

Realizing the wall had been reached unless I gutted the truck, I got with Preaux Tuning for a flex fuel tune.

Now we’re getting somewhere! Dropped a Whipple air box in place to augment the 5” CF inlet tube and dropped more time.

Yesterday, installed a GT350 intake and that’s where we stand. I’m waiting for a tune revision to make more passes but I’m expecting more progress.

If you would’ve told me back in 2006 that I’d be buying a new truck to drag race, I probably would’ve laughed at you. My how times have changed.
