You are getting closer and closer.. I know that. Came along ways from the start on here.
I will agree, there comes a point where the car becomes more of a headache than a enjoyment.
Joe,
I will only speak for myself and what I want to do with mine.
I can tell you I'm over the H/P & Torque thing.
My opinion is based on what I know personally it is maybe past time for me to have stopped on increasing the power.
I want to be able to start mine up and drive it any where I please.
And I also wanted to retain all the functions on mine that came on it from ford.
Like, A/C, power steering, power brakes, wipers, washers, rear defroster, shaker 1000, power locks, power windows and that list goes on.
I'm not going to state this next thing as a fact simply because I have not yet picked mine up yet.
But from what Brent & George at Brenspeed have told me numerous times mine still drives very close to stock.
No surging, stalling when coming to a stop, shifting all screwed up, won't idle, start it up and black smoke rolling out the exhaust, eating spark plugs up, driving down the road and it bucking, all that crap can happen.
In my case I don't have to deal with any of it.
So what I'm really saying it is one thing to trailer a car to a drag-strip and race it.
It's a completely different story as both of us know to have a car like mine that can be raced but also very reliable to drive with confidence.
Me and you have had that discussion more than a few times.
So buddy I'm STOPPING while mine is still a usable vehicle.
IMHO I'm at that power level which is probably more right now than the rear tires (Street Tires) are going to be able to handle.
I will be looking for you to get back into a Mustang once again.
I might be wrong but I have a feeling if you do you might this time keep your's to where you can also have the confidence to drive it any where you want.
Spending huge amount of dollars and then not being able to really use what was built is not perhaps the best way to go.
