Who would have thought I'd be a flower gardener? I put in all perennials so should get years out of this, people stop to look. Catchup since the tulips

Nice job. How long ago did you plan them?

Some were transplants last summer, tulips & daffodil bulbs planted in the fall, the Lillies & Gladiolus were bulbs planted this spring. I put in few beareded Iris rhizomes in the fall but not sure if I'll get a bloom out of them this first year. I'm saving seeds from the bleeding heart and the columbines, just potted some and going to douse an empty garden in back see if I can't get a bunch of new plants for elsewhere/sharing with friends & family. I'm no expert, just going with general gardening ideas and using internet searches on like what to deadhead and when. Funny everyone that does know comments the soil is crap but then everyone amazed at how good the flowers look. I had few people think the tulips were fakes!

On a phone they're not resizing ... end up scrolling up/down/left/right .... and then they were quoted repeatedly ... I did a lot of scrolling taking that crap yesterday, that's for sure, lol

For some reason it has hic ups, so I refresh the page and it resizes them. Try that.

Brand new computer running Win 10 and they are not resizing for me still. Refreshed a couple times. And the new mouse doesn't have the side-to-side scroll feature on the center button. Easier to just skip the post.

Finally mounted my Christmas present.

I have a similar hose reel from my old house, still haven't mounted it at the new house yet. They are really handy. I'd recommend an inline shutoff valve just before the reel and possibly a water separator as well.

My role around compressor is just on the side of that door. I'm going to put a valve coming off it and all connections will be quick connect. I really don't use compressed air that much but the real will be nicer than the black hose I have now. Hate having to stretch the black out all the way in order to roll it up.

Step 3 of operation salvage the deck, following Johnf78 advice opening up the spacing. Then it'll be powerwash, sand, and finally stain. I realize this isn't going to miraculously be a new deck but if I get another 3 years out of it, give me time to save some money and decide am I going to keep the current config

Friday I got a load of dirt after work and dumped it in the low spot in my front yard. Friday night, Saturday night and today I spread and leveled it out. I also dug up a few high areas with a scuffle hoe, raked them out and leveled them as well. I hope to pick up 2-3 pallets of sod this week.

Got a few things done today at the new place. Been a while since I chimed in here, but here's the new crib in the good ole Florida rainy weather.

Got the outside programmable lights put in and working, installed a new sprinkler system (control unit), installed a new front keyless door lock, finished off the new kitchen sink and faucet / disposal and dishwasher and installed my new island pot rack/light.

Here is a little before and after of the kitchen. Nothing special, but it works.

Next project is the pool area. Outdoor kitchen, some furniture and a nice covered lounge area.

Thanks Brian!

I did move close to work. 45 min drive instead of 1 hr and 10-15.
