First time at the track with the new (used) ET Street 26x11.50-15s on Summit wheels. Only the second day really running the car with the blower setup on it.
Combo:
2005 GT coupe 5-speed manual
8.5:1 stock-stroke MMR800 shortblock
stock heads, cams, intake, TB
charge motion deletes
Hooker longtubes and offroad X-pipe, stock axleback
Vortech T-trim with air/air intercooler; 14lbs peak boost at 6500rpm
Spydershaft driveshaft, Spec 2+ clutch, stock trans, stock rear with 3.55s
GT500 fuel pumps, 60lb injectors
Car makes ~485rwhp and ~440rwtq on a Dynojet
Ran a total of 9 times with absolutely no car issues (I've had a lot of issues with this car).
Ran a bunch of 11.80s at 120-121mph with a little tirespin, a 11.75, 11.61, then this as my final run:
60'.................1.649
330'................4.830
1/8.................7.481
1/8mph...........93.98
1000'..............9.697
1/4.................11.579
1/4mph............120.87
This was with heavy GT500 wheels/tires on the front, completely stock suspension except FRPP lowering springs, and no weight reduction other than the spare tire and jack.
Air was very good; I'd guess around zero DA. This makes this car the quickest car I've owned (out of about 60 previous cars), the previous fastest being a cammed/headered 2002 Z06 than ran an 11.66 at 118 on M/T ET Street radials.
All in all, a great day.
