As most know I had a fuel pump problem on my LARRY_H built 302 stroker that caused some engine damage. Well I went with a Big Bore this time and she cranked up today after 18 months.

Info on the motor:
Modular Performance 326ci Big Bore
Kellogg Crank
Oliver Billet Rods
Custom Diamond Pistons (9.3:1 CR)
Custom L&M Engine Billet Cams
Livernois St. 3 heads with new Guides installed due to the ones that came with them being junk after 1500 miles.
JPC Intake Powder Coated Black and machined to fit a Monoblade Throttlebody
Ported Stock Manifolds Ceramic Coated (for THP Turbo Kit)

Driveline Back:
FB Performance 4STB-E (Built 4R70W)
FB Performance 3500 stall converter Triple Disk
FB Performance Aluminum Driveshaft
Currie 9" Rear end with 4.11's and Detroit Locker

Fuel System:
Converted to Return Style
Custom built 15 gal Fuel Cell
Magnafuel Pump MP-4703
Magnafuel Regulator with 1:1 Boost Reference
JPC Fuel Rails

It cranked up today and we are going to start the engine break in process before going run it Saturday night with out the turbo kit on it. Once we get some miles on the motor then I am going to either install the THP kit I have or will sell it and start building me a custom Twin 62mm turbo system.

Here is a video of it idling for the first time with out an axle backs on it.

Nice. Was it really down 18 months? Doesn't seem that long.

What are the ET goals of the car once the turbo kit is on it?

Yeah, we started all this April 2010. I am hoping with the 76mm to run 9.6 to 9.9 and when we build the Twin Kit I want some Low 9's to high 8's.

Oh man, your car has a "Chubby" inducing lope.... schwing!!!!

They sound mild compared to the BBR St. 2's I had before.

I can not wait to weigh her. She has gone on a big diet and more to come. They have nothing left in her that she doesn't need to run. I am hoping for around 3300 lbs or less.
