05 - 09 Flowmasters ATs, strut tower caps and other items from the shop cleaning

Ok so I'm cleaning out the shop, just too many parts not being used.

Flowmaster American Thunder axle backs, these have been on my 05 for a couple of years but only about 8,000 miles. THey are in very good shape with only one little ding on the top of one of the tips. $220.00 shipped.




Strut tower caps - Midwest auto gear. I bought these from a guy on this forum back in March and never installed them because they wouldn't work with my koni struts. Painted black.. SOLD



High mount third brake light - CDC bnib. I was going to install this when I installed my CDC ducktail spoiler, but I found out it wasn't mandatory in LA to have a third brake light so I never installed. It has all hardware, 3m tape, instructions and original packaging. It has been opened as I said I was going to install it. The blue tape in the pics is for the layout marks (centlerline) for installation. $40.00 shipped

Not sure. The Koni center bolt sticks up too high is the reason the wont work with them. Does the DSPEC's bolt stuck up higher than stock?

Would you be able to measure how high yours sticks up? I'll measure mine and compare.

How do the flowmasters sound ? is it a deep sound ? Compare to JBA's ?

I will post a video later today when I get back to my computer. They have a pretty deep tone. Can't compare to Jana's never had them.

From inside of car. Keep in mind I have mid pipe resonators as well. They are a little more raspy without the resonators if your running an o/r H or X.

Here ya go:

Stock 08 GT


My 05 with Koni STR.T's & J&M camber plates

As you can see the stock ones only stick up 1/2" where the Koni's stick up a full inch.

Those flows sound really nice and deep they resonate like @#
glws..

Do they resonate more than JBA ?
can't wait to see your video, might wanna change my actual setup.

I had these covers with D-Specs, I had to make the center hole larger by drilling it out a little to make them fit.

Just a cheap set of glass pack mufflers. Shortest ones I could find. I think they were about 14" long. I don't remember exactly.

Just saw the videos, I love the sound of them but my neighbors are gonna hate me I think They are much louder as the JBA obviously.

I have JBA lt's with o/r pipe and frpp stinger mufflers.. not too loud.. i would think the flowmaster's would sound pretty damn good!

I'm just afraid that it's gonna be a little bit too loud for a daily drive.
I have stock headers, the stock cats, X pipes from pypes and the JBA's for mufflers.
