I drove my brothers plenty of times and it really is a great car. Fast, torque steer is addicting to play with, and it goes where you want to put it. I'm kinda annoyed he is selling it now though since I wanted to put coilovers and wheels on it. That engine sounds very nice too under any amount of acceleration.

It does have a very nice sound. The car is an absolute blast to drive. It has more braking power than anything I've driven. It'll put your eyeballs in the windshield.

Any more power and the Focus ST needs AWD.

But this. Although they've done a good job managing it with electronic assist, it can be a handful, especially when the tires break loose. Which is all the time if you cob it.

Thread drift over! I promise!

You are absolutely right. I drove his car and went back to mine and my Mustang brakes felt like complete mush.

The market for the focus St is already huge, add to that, a Mustang with the same engine, and it's gonna get big real fast. Turbod 4's also don't have the same fart can sound that Hondas do, just look at a subie with exhaust, they're throaty and mean, so exhaust note won't be an issue, and with how fast companies are gonna jump on modding them, they're gonna be nasty little fuckers in no time

Subies are boxer 4's. The EcoBoost are I4's. Totally different design and totally different sound. I've been told the Fusion 2.0 with the Magnaflow sounds somewhat like the Nissan VQ engine--not a bad thing IMHO.

The aftermartket for the EB 2.0 is exploding right now. Lots of stuff for the Focus ST, and since the Fusion uses nearly the exact same engine, many parts will transfer or require minor changes to fit. Livernois already has a tune for the Fusion 2.0--and it's turning out the turbo is going to be the first thing to max out from reports I'm reading, with the fuel coming next. It's close to 300hp as it is though.

My Fusion will definitely get up & go sitting stock as it is now. No, not a Coyote-powered push, but respectable for a family hauler. There's lots of potential there.

I am liking the '15, and the family resemblances don't bother me. I think the Fusion is the best looking car in it's class, and the Evos styling cues both cars have are no surprise--Ford has been saying they are there for some time now.

Found this picture of the 2.3. It's interesting that there's no longer an exhaust manifold. The manifold is built into the cylinder head. I sure wish I could read what model number that honeywell turbo is.

Which is why I can't easily swap on a bigger turbo to my ST.

I'm in love with the 15 but I don't know if I like the body line in the rear quarter by the gas door. Now the question is convertible or hardtop?

The back end around the top of the fenders toward the rear window reminds me a lot of an Astin Martin...
