Looks great Terry, that engine compartment is immaculate. I'm not a fan of the 812R on the side but it's not my car. I hope you get many hours of pleasure from the new Tigermachine.

Earl
Earl, THanks and we both know what one fellow likes another might not on his Mustang/Vehicle.

No-Worries on this end buddy in regards to comments on personal preferences.

Heck in my case I actually prefer a Bright White or Bright red Mustang in the GT/CS.

The Bullitt came in the HG, (Highland Green) so I have it.

Something for all of us to enjoy.

Enjoy it!

Will do for sure ...

Terry, it has been a long build process and it is great to hear that you are using and enjoying the car already. The engine bay is truly killer!

Scott, I just drove it over 2,000 miles so your right it ain't a (Garage-Queen) for sure.

It is a Bad-Ass Machine now to be one you can just jump in drive it thousands of miles with No-Worries.

AWESOME!

Nice job on the Roush Big brake kit, I love my Brembo's but still kick myself for passing on a deal for those Roush's which are better

Like you I had the Brembo brakes front and rear.
I like them !!!
But this time I wanted to go with IMO the highest tech look I could.
The Roush Big-Brakes fit the ticket and fit easily with my M/T 20" wheels.
Clearance was No-issue.

Can someone explain to me what the 812R means please? I'm a little confused here.

It is what Brenspeed went with for the, (Crank-H/P) at 812.
The actual number is 818 plus but they wanted to be safe and went with the 812 number.
The R stands for Race.

Looks like Brent took good care of you! Car looks great Terry. If you've got time and get her cleaned up from the trip, lets get over to Cars and Coffee this Saturday morning. Get with Bobby and see if he can meet up as well. We can all hook up somewhere and roll in together.

Hi Tim,

I would Luv to meet up and do that but have so many things on this end to get done before we all leave to the 50th event in NC coming up.

So, yes hopefully in the future we all can meet up and cruise over together to the Cars & Coffee as a team.

Right now the Bullitt is Trashed to be honest as it was raining here.

Have to get on it this week sometime hopefully.

I see honda civics all over the place with Type R badges, do they make a Mustang Type R now?

For someone who doesn't give a rats ass about numbers, you certainly thrown them around a lot in your posts.

You even branded them on your car. (That kinda makes them absolute)

So how can you say that you don't give a rats ass about numbers, when clearly you do?

Here is the answer to your post your going to get from me.

As I said to Brian in an earlier post and I quote.

Brian ...

Man, seriously, you have never ever met me and you talk to me on post here on S-197 like you can't stand the ground I walk on.

Let me see if this will work with you.

I'm not going to debate with you on numbers.
I'm not going to argure with you on my thread on my Bullitt Mustang.

What I am willing to say to you is this.

I'm glad you are really excited and luv your Bullitt Mustang. :highfive:

With the above being said man calm down I'm not in competition with you or anyone else.

Your taking this stuff way to much to the heart and it's just not necessary.

Enjoy your Bullitt Mustang as I hope to mine when I get it back.
The above applies to you as well.
If you don't like this Thread and or Me, or my Bullitt Mustang, or Brenspeed, then go read and, (Try to be a Pain-in-the-Ass) to someone else.

Enjoy it Terry

Estimated Crank HP - guess you didn't read the last 40-60 posts

Dave,

:thanks1: and I am believe me.

It is a Super Fun Machine to drive on the road.

The Muth-Fucka will just simply LEAP when you get into the Gas.

I think he's just trying to be a dick.

I hope Terry enjoys every single one of those 800 horsepowers.

You can take this one to the bank, I am !!!

It is once again more than I expected from Brenspeed on these last changes.

They, (BRENSPEED) have exceeded my expectations and I have nothing but plus comments regarding them.

Looking good Terry!

I appreciate that ...

Car looks great, Terry! Love the motor... making me want to pull the upgrade to a TVS. Decided to put the Roush spoiler on it, eh.... probably one of my favorites if your going to have one. I am back and forth about the 812R on the side. I think it would have been better to put in black letters... "EAT LEAD..... R". LOL

OH.... and not an easy decision to paint the carbon, is it? LOL

The 812R honestly was what Brent came up with and here is how that came about.
They had in their shop 6-Mustangs that had the, Hockey Graphics on them.
Brent said to me, (I'm wanting something different on your's) so trust me and I will do my thing.
I do have trust in Brent as he does know his stuff IMO.
So he got with the company there locally and the guy/owner said bring it to me and I will do it right now.
Brent sent him what he wanted and the guy got on his computer and sent Brent back what he thought would look good and not gaudy.
Later that day it was completed and I drove George down to that shop to pick the Bullitt back up.
I saw it when George got back to Brenspeed and it just happened it was a nice clear day.
So I got to see it clearly and honestly I Luv it as it is not an, (In-Your-Face) sort of thing.
You actually have to be at the right angle to even see it at all.
It is Matte-Gray finish so like I said it is not the sort of graphics that just JUMP-Out ...

Regarding the, Highland Green raised center section painted.
The guy/owner that does the custom Rods etc. suggested that to Brent and said he thought it would pull it all together nicely.
Brent signed off on it and that fellow was right it all does go together if you see the Bullitt in person.

Tigermachine looks amazing Terry!

Thank-You ...

Nice ride!

I appreciate that ...

What matters is that you are happy with your ride Terry. Side note, is there anything left on the table for HP with that combo? Also why not go with the FRPP TB and a larger CAI?

Looks great man.

i've never really got the whole leaving a carbon fiber hood unpainted thing, looks odd to me but, saying that, it doesn't look bad on darker colored cars (such as HG) and with the Green in the middle part it looks awesome.

Very nice pullies and clean engine bay. have fun with it.

Cam,

Your right Cam that is what really matters is in this case me liking the completed product.
I do ...

I don't think so on any H/P being left on the table.
(For a 93-Octane Gas Application)

I did not choose the TB or CAI that was left up to Brent.

I can tell you that mine according to Brent is the highest H/P 3-Valve with an Auto tranny they have done.

So that's why I think there is nothing left to further increase the H/P & Torque.

You and I both know it could more than likely be (Leaned) on as in (Leaned-Out) fuel mixture wise and Timing.

I'm totally out on telling Brent to do that I prefer to know his Tune might be a little Conservative/Safe but I'm A-OK with that.

The Carbon-Fiber Hood thing is just one of those personal preferences.
Certainly not for everyone.
The added HG Center-Section honestly really pulls it all together nicely.
In person it all goes very well together hard to I think tell from Pics.

I think it turned out great Terry. Enjoy it!

Thanks and I am for sure.

We will be off to the 50th in NC in a little over a week from now.

Car looks great Terry, enjoy it! get some interior pics up so we can see it...

I will do that in the Future for you guys.

Just got way to many things going on right now here before leaving to the 50th Ford event.

Car looks great, Terry! I really like how the engine bay looks. I like the new wheels way better than your old chrome ones.

We all have different tastes, just ignore the rude comments from others.

Terry forgot to ask you earlier, please let me know what you think of the 6G 200 AMP PA Performance alternator once you have had a chance to assess it.

It be to the point now it gets my immediate attention Dave.

Bill, I agree that the engine Bay is killer looking this go around.

The M/T 20" SC-5 wheels look excellent on it with the newest changes.

Scott, this is not the 200 amp one.

This is the as I recall the 140 amp PA unit in Black Powder Coat finish.

It looks awesome Terry!! Enjoy Brother...

Thanks and as soon as I get it cleaned up again I'm looking forward to driving it.

It looks like CRAP in the garage right now.

It's suppose to be warmer and sun out in the next few days here.

not a fan to be honest, but it doesn't matter now does it. enjoy it!

Matt, Well I don't know that in my case I would say your (Opinion) does not matter.

I think it just simply comes down to what each of us likes.

Mine I really like with the way all the changes turned out.

From what you have said in your case you don't care for it the way it is.

The way I am I try my best to keep in mind just because I like the way my Bullitt Mustang looks and drives does not mean everyone else will.

It's important that you like your's as in this case I like mine.

Something for all of us to enjoy with our individual taste and preferences.

Just got one much needed fix completed ...

Hi Gang,

Just to keep you all up to date.

I just got back from the Muffler-Shop here in Franklin, TN.

Max was the tech that helped me on my Bullitt.

Here is the situation that I just now got done.

When I made that almost Full 1/4 mile pass at Lufkin, TX.

I did not know I had almost blown out the passenger side, (Tail-Pipe) from the H-Pipe.

It did come loose on the drive back from Lufkin.

Luckily a Walmart was close by and they fixed me up temporary.

So I found out that cars like mine that have the Power I do can and will push the tail-pipes out of the H-Pipe.

If your tail pipes have been (Off & On) multiple times using the same (Old Band-Clamps).

Another racer I know had his come out 3-times last year.
He ended up tack-welding his band-clamps
Then after that he had the band-clamps replaced with new ones and has not happened since.

There are a lot of you on here that have high H/P cars so just sharing this with you if you run into the issue.

So one of the solutions is to replace those old Tail-Pipe, (Band Clamps) with new ones.

So I did get new ones and they did install them and also adjusted the complete exhaust system for me.

I also had 2-New tail-pipe hanger assemblies added !!!

Here are a few pics of the new hangers being installed.

Are ur mufflers that much of a restriction? Are they blowing off from the back pressure tiger? I have 700 to the tire with a straight thru design n never had an issue.

I've never seen this as an issue... could the fitment of the OTA pipes meeting the muffler just be faulty?

Honestly guys I don't actually know the exact reason it happens.

With my old Saleen Supershaker set-up no worries.

With this new Roush set-up and a lot more H/P it took place 1st pass.

If I were to simply make a guess using common-sense only and not based on anything else I suspect it is where the tailpipes go over the rear-end axles.

I think a lot of people know about this with very high producing H/P Mustangs but don't mention it.

They like me and another guy I know just go get it corrected and don't mention it or talk about it.

I run the Borla (Touring) complete exhaust system.

Kooks headers with H-Pipe and High-Flow-Cats.

I doubt really that there is much (Restriction) in the system.

More just a combination of things under WOT (Wide-Open-Throttle) and holding it in 4th gear.

As I said in the other Post my tailpipes have been on and off so many times that I think that is why the old-Band-Clamps don't hold correctly.

The other guy I know replaced those Band-Clamps and never had the issue again.

I did the same thing yesterday and also had them add the 2-extra tail-pipe hangers.

I doubt I will have that issue again.

Since I know now what is going on I will probably just get new Band-Clamps if my exhaust system has to be removed for any reason.

Don't recall exactly what the 2-clamps cost but certainly not much.

When Greg had his 2010 YSI setup, he blew the pipes off several times. We used to kid him about it all the time. It always pays to install new clamps, after using the old ones for a while.

Yes; times please:)

Easy guys he will have stickers and plaques made up soon enough with the estimated DA, and rotation of the earth calculated for the proper estimated E.T. and MPH numbers.

Sorry Tiger I had to!

Car looks awesome and I bet its a beast to drive!

Like many have said. There are things on it I would do differently if it were my car but its not. You are happy with your car and that is all that matters!

Mine is now corrected.
