So many great details on this car. I had intended to copy a lot of the decisions you made when I picked one up, but the one I bought ended up being already modified in different ways. I would love to have red interior again and I'd prefer not to have 3 holes in each quarter panel holding on a Roush wing. Oh well.

Yeah, you hate the auto so much that you ordered a new s550!

I love a stick shift car, but I am beginning to understand why there's so much hate for the MT-82 like the one in my car. If ford ever puts a proper dual clutch auto with a flappy paddle gearbox in a mustang, I will have one.

The s197 still looks great, Chris!

Thanks man. It's hard to find a clean stock S197 these days.. but the Roush wing looks good too. I have considered it many times. That does stink that it's drilled though. Got any pics of yours?

Lol, exactly! I'm really surprised Ford kept using the MT-82 in the 15-16s after so many issues. I'm just going to keep it under warranty for a couple years. Are you having any trouble out of yours now?

I still want to coyote swap my s197 in the future when it's my only toy again.. may want to use a T56 or 6060 for the trans though lol.

I still think the 11-14 5.0 tops the 15+ 5.0 at being more fun to drive. They feel so light and playful and you can just rip on it.. Dump the clutch at 7k rpm.. kick it sideways.. whatever. lol. I just love driving them. Long live the S197 platform

One of my favourite pictures before I stored my car away, this was actually the weekend I stored it, and the car was dirty as hell after a 250-300 miles trip.

It might be a little edited...

Car looks great as always Chris. Are those black interior trim pieces from American Muscle or where they painted locally? They look outstanding.

Thanks man. I had them painted by a local redneck and then wet-sanded and buffed them out myself a few months later.

Drove around with a jacked up interior for a week or two, but it was totally worth it! & If I remember correctly, it was only like $125 for the console, radio trim, and speaker grill surrounds.
