i used the stefs oil seperator PArt number #5128
It has a 3/4 npt inlet and a 1/2 npt outlet which will save you some dough on fittings. With this one, you can use std. brass fittings from your local hardware store to convert the 3/4"npt inlet to a straight 5/8" barb, Then to convert the 1/2"npt outlet to a 90 degree 5/8" barb.

Summit Racing:
MOR-63401 3" can bracket 6.95

and your all set. jsut need some 5/8" ID hose thats rated for oil/fuel and your good to go

Thanks Ron for posting that up...I must have posted this info a million times.

Mike, if you have a hard time finding the proper fittings/hose, I can pick some up locally and mail it out to you.

I've done so for quite a few people so far.

He shouldn't have too much of an issue finding the fittings. We have this place here called Elliott's Hardware. It is a single store, not a chain. Been around for about 80 years. Has grown in to about the size of a grocery store. FREAKIN HUGE. And they honestly do carry everything you can think of looking for.

Trust me, I went to every single hardware and plumbing store within a 20 mile radius, and I still had to mix a few pieces from a parts store and the rest at a hardware store.

That's why I'm so willing to help out with this, I spent so much damn time tracking these fittings down, that I want to spread the good findings...

But, it sounds like Eliott's may have you covered.

Good luck man, I'm here if you need it.

I got the Stefs 5128 Can but mine had two 1/2 NPT fittings on it, so you may want to confirm with them when you order. I used two 1/2 NPT to -10AN fittings, and two 90* -10AN to Pushlock fittings, and some weatherhead -10AN hose (Thanks NICK!) Working good so far!

I used the Steeda Oil Separator PN 555-3710. Works well it's just getting fittings to work with the larger 5/8 hose that our cars need.

Josh, that looks killer like that!

I still haven't made my bracket to reinstall mine. One of these days, I'll have to get crackin' on it.

If any of you followed my post on the "other" forum. Don't buy the junk Spectra hose. I changed up to -10an Earl's Perform-O-Flex hose and used their -12an to -10an adapters with -10an straight and -10an 120* fittings on the can. I still used the stock quick connects at the motor with covered hose clamps. Super pleased with the finished product.

Do you have a web site for Stefs? I don't have a S/C but I don't want to empty it weekly either.

So someone take a minute and educate me...these things are an application for SC'd engines? Where is the oil coming from? What happens if you don't install a catch can? And why don't SC kits come with it as an integral part?
