I gotta get myself out of some debt without a fulltime job lined up, and yea it hurts a lot. Thinking of going down to a 2007 pre-owned Focus for awhile, then eventually, I'll build a new GT or get one of the upgraded trims, like The Boss. If I win the lottery or money rains from the sky, I'd keep this. Really don't want to part with it, but see no other options right now.

I'm sorry to hear that. Some one is going to get a great deal at that price.

Thanks. So far, I've had a nibble from a guy wondering if I'd ship to CA, and I'm not paying for that. Anyone takes it for a test drive, they'll see what an awesome ride this is, especially a daily driver.

Spread the word....

If you decide to part it out at all let me know, I'd be interested in taking some of the BMR stuff off your hands.

Not parting it out. Took me two years to build my perfect car. Goes as is, and I don't have the original parts to swap back on.

Thanks Joe. I've got a few peeps off the boards who are talking about it with their friends.

That is an outrageous mod list and a hell of a deal for someone!

I've started pimping it to a couple of guys at work. Wish I could just make it my own!

New clutch is finally in, and Art tells me it's a completely different car to drive now...the old clutch was down to the rivets and was a matter of time before it failed. I guess 72K wasn't too bad on a stock clutch and car that did go to the track a few times. Shifter now is better too, with the missing bushing finally where it's supposed to be.

Be happy to take any of you on a test ride, if you want to see the car in person.

Damn Liz, sorry to hear you're letting the car go. But I understand we have to prioritize. I'm sure you'll be back in there in no time. Best of luck with the sale!!!

You have 72K on the car?

My thoughts exactly, where all have you been, that is a lot of miles for a 3 year old car. That would put it as "high milage". Personally I passed on an '05 with stick and many cosmetics just this last Nov. for 21,500 car had 10k miles. back tires looked like they had 40k miles. Ended up buying '06 w/ 5k miles for 24,495, the car was cherry and the rear tires looked like they hadn't been turned over. I found the warranty card, it belonged to a chick. I think I fell into some rose shit. After intake, tune and gears she's an 8.06 1/8 miler

Well, I've had my 07 GT/CS since Feb 21st, and it's almost got 12k on it. It's a daily driver...about 60 miles a day rt, so 10k on an '05 is below avg. I figure Liz has been enjoying the car....

Mileage has now jumped to a little over 75K, and yes, Liz has enjoyed the hell out of her car, very much so. My daughter thinks it's a pretty bitchin' ride to school too! But still nags me about speed from the passenger seat....kids.
