I was speaking out of my ass apparently. The new 5.0L IS still considered a modular. My bad.
Wiseco pistons 11.5-1 compression
Billet Oliver Rods
Stock Crankshaft
We will be installing this unit pretty soon.
See how much power we make on the wheels or fortune!!
We plan on keeping the boost down to about 15 or so.
Seeing those piston oil squirters in there is just awesome. I don't know why I love that so much about the new 5.0L engines, but I do.
I read somewhere that people think that modular means the parts are interchangeable between the motors. But in actuality it refers to the tooling used to make the motors is modular, IIRC.
Don't feel bad, I've been wondering if the 5.0 crank could be used in a 4.6
No it will not. Nothing on the new 5.0 will interchange with the old Mods.
What are some hp/tq estimations of 11.5:1 and 15psi?

why, they are already making 802rwhp at 16-18 with 11.1, just think what the 11.5 to 1 will do.
i still went to 10.1 on mine, just because i will be running a pump gas tune at times, with low timing for everyday driving

I thought 802 was on 12psi.
