Today I received my Canton battery box mounted I/C reservoir. Nice looking piece. Now that I have the unit in my hands I did some measuring and determined that with the tank filled 1" from the top, the tank has 421.5 cubic inches which equates to 1.8 gallons of liquid - 960% more fluid than the stock Saleen reservoir. You'll notice this reservoir also has a relief valve incorporated into the tank.
After I welded on my tank I cleaned it out by running a bunch of water through it with my hose. Man, when that sucker is full of water its heavy!

You could always take the petcock out they installed, put a barbed fitting and run hose somewhere low and put a drain on that to make it easier.

Looks good otherwise!

Looks good, I just don't like the drain location. When our tank is done it will be in the stock location so the drain will be accessable
Yeah, WTF is up with that drain?! If you cracked that thing open you would have coolant coming out of your rear bumper!:wtf1:

What do you guys have coming out for a tank? I did so much fab work on my Canton one (see pic) that I should have just done one from scratch. It would be nice to have something a bit more thought out available. I have a few friends about to "step up".:thumb:

Patience is running thin on this. Any new info from you guys. I will be ordering this tank and would like to know if the temps are dropping. I wanted to find out if it works better to put the tank after the heat exchanger to keep it full of cooler water rather than after the intercooler allowing it to heat soak.
