I wasn't sure if I should put this in this section or not. I found a killer deal on this Jeep and as most of you know I'm a Jeep fan as much as I am a Ford fan.

This will probably be replacing my older Jeep in the future then my next step will be either a GT500 or an SRT-8 Jeep. But I wanted to grab this up since it's loaded up the way I want it, but still has the V6 engine. Sort of a hard combo to find one that's not a V8 but still with all the extras of a limited.

I am assuming this is a Grand Cherokee as I cannot see a picture (work filters).

V8 and V6 Grand Cherokees get basically the same fuel economy according to my research last spring when looking for a new car.

Yeah, it's a GC. I was thinking about getting a 4 door wrangler hardtop, but I found a good deal on this and had to do it. It's got 30K miles and it's really been kept care of.

We'll see. I'm just a big fan of SUVs especially living out here in the country. I was a nervous wreck driving my car around here with all the road kill and rocks falling in the road, etc. The SRT has much better ground clearance. But it's a tough call for sure. I love both of them and they each have their benefits for sure.

They are an awesome ride, and have LOTS of potential. And you can still have passengers and plenty of cargo space, too.

I had an 05 and hated it!

Good luck with yours...

I have on 02 now and my parents have an 05 and we've had great luck. My 02 has 162K on it and it's been the best most dependable ride I've ever had. I've literally had it in the shop one time.

Hopefully my 08 will do as well

I think they ride like shit from the factory. It's so rough, way worse than my lowered car..

Really? I can see that with the Wranglers which is a big reason I decided to go with this one, but the GC's ride great. The 02 is very good, but the 08 is like a friggin caddy, IMO. Much better than my car was even before I lowered it. I know this sounds crazy, but the 08 rides as nice as my E class did. It really feels like a luxury car instead of an SUV.

i thought you got the srt8... I want one. So bad..

I wish. I found a silver one that was the right price and miles, but I just couldn't go with silver in one of those. Nothing else was what I wanted and then I ran on this and had to pull the trigger to keep from loosing it.

The old 4.0's are bulletproof!

My 05 was in the shop about every other week. Got rid of that pos a couple years ago with around 35k on the clock.

Yeah, that inline 6 is awesome. I can't believe they stopped making such a reliable engine. I've been through 3 of them over the years and had nothing but good luck. I think that engine is what made me fall in love with Jeeps in the first place.

Hopefully I'll have good luck with the 08 though.

True, and if I do get a GT500 it will not be black, but a Jeep would have to be black for me to like it.

I can drive the Black Jeep I just bought on the roads around here the same as the Mustang and when I come home it's barely dusty at all. The car, however, would be covered in dust before I even got where I was going. I guess where it was so low to the ground it all just stuck on the side of it as soon as a ran over it and the Jeep is up high enough for it to get past the kicked up dust before it sticks. But whatever the reason, it's a major difference between the two.

Did I miss something? Did you sell the Mustang?

I was talking about the SRT8. I know the GCs ride good.
