Just a quick question, can someone tell me where the OEM amplifier for a shaker 500 system is located? If anyone knows the info would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
I have a manual, but typically it was at home. i'm a Paramedic, so being able to use the bay for a place to work on the car is a nice perk. I appreciate the posts and the help, thanks.
I know this has been asked a million times before, but I can't find it doing a search. Can someone please tell me which fuse the fuel pump relay is in the fuse box of my 06'
I have set of Pypes LT's, shorty X, and FRPP Stingers and LOVE it. Nice and throaty at idle and roars like a beast when you get on it. I love all of the pypes products.
the video for the GT, after a "dyno" test, puts the power at 435 HP and 404 TQ. No who and the hell did ford blow at MotorTrend for a result like that. 350-370 HP at best from a stock motor w/ no modifications. Just a stupid video in my opinion.
I figure since down the line I might eventually go FI, I might as well go with a new shortblock. I'm only staying N/A now because I'm onr of the many working poor and of course all the extra cheese I get out of my paycheck goes into the car. I think I'm going to start from scratch and get a...
Oil/filter every 5k miles, two alternators, new set of plugs, fuel filter every 30k miles, trans fluid just 100k. She runs like new, shifts like butter and still breaks the wheels lose shifting into 3rd.
LIke the title says I have little over 125K miles on my 06'. I have done all the typical maintenance and normal up keep since the day I bought it new w/ 6 miles on the odometer. Nothing too aggressive so far, aside from a set of Pypes LT's, 4:10 gears and a Hurst STS. I'm not a mechanic or...
A few threads had the same information, saying the "readiness monitors are turned off." I also read a few posts saying they have passed w/ an O/R midpipe, explaining its all in the tune. I'm going to try BBR tomorrow and see what they recommend. I might try flanging my cats and getting a...
A couple of weeks ago I had Evolution put in a set of the Pypes LT headers on my 06'. I had an O/R Prochamber on before the install, it bolted up to the LT's so they left it on instead of using the O/R H that came with the LT's. I was told that the tune was going to be good to pass emissions...
I saw the new 2011 sitting on the dyno last Friday when I went to pick up my 06'. guess this is why my car was half ass-ed and my custom tune wasn't done, too busy with the shop car. Oh and I'm not a GT500, just a little GT. I could care less about Evolution. Just my opinion after a lack...
Timintex: I would go with the X-pipe. i just put a set of the Pypes LT's on the other day and I have an O/R Prochamber, basically and H-pipe and it's not as loud as I thought. Infact I think it's quieter when idle and normal driving. I'm going to swap to the O/R X that I got from Brenspeed.
