So we all know that our cars are prone to rattles, several noises that eventually make us want to rip our hair out. I've read up as much as I could and went through as much troubleshooting as I could, but I cannot track down what this noise is. CLICK THIS LINK TO FEEL AND HEAR MY PAIN...

If you didn't notice, I posted in that thread you had linked to. I've had the noise from the shock moving around and that's why I posted in that thread, but that's definitely not the sound I'm hearing now.

Is anybody still having issues with a rogue noise? And if anybody else can chime in with what actually fixed the noise, I'd assume many people would appreciate knowing some solutions. Now I know not all of our noises are the same, but I'm hoping at least one person had the same sound I'm...

Tested the started off the car and both the solenoid and starter worked properly. I wiped the live wire and ignition wire to the starter clean, in addition to cleaning the ground that goes under the plastic at the base of the windscreen. Put the starter back on the car and it started up with a...

Well that was short lived. One out of three times started the car, though with lots of hesitation. The other two times just cranked and didn't start. Now there's no crank, but I can hear the starter spinning, no clicking though. Time to take it off.

Easy there with your assumptions. Regardless of what the problem may be, I bought parts that could be the problem as a preemptive measure to mitigate the time the car would be nonoperational. Getting everything at once ahead of time allows me to figure out the problem ahead of time and fix...
