    HydroSilex

Gents, Has anyone tried this stuff? HydroSilex.. An ad popped up on Facebook about it and I checked out their web site. it looks to me like a detailing spray, by the way it goes on/off, but they claim it to be a ceramic coating. Makes me a bit leery. what do you all think?

    2005 Whippled Saleen 11k miles!

Hi everyone. I have been on the forum since around 08 or 09 and have learned from much more knowledgeable people than myself. You all helped me with the Whipple install, which was amazing fun for a winter project. Life has changed significantly for me (lost my wife to cancer) and it's...

Cost of a new full re-paint of the car, same colors.

Lots of cash for a paint job. If you are doing it, do it for yourself, because I am sure you will not get your money back when selling.

New TPS and Whipple 2.3 on 2005 4.6

Guys, I am going to purchase a new TPS sensor to attempt troubleshooting a sporadic engine failsafe condition. I read that the "new" TPS is taller than the original and may cause clearance issues. I checked the whipple and the tps plug clears the SC housing by about a 1/8". Anyone make the...

    engine failsafe mode

The fuel is "fresh" from last year. I fill it up in October with some of that new stabil stuff that you should use all the time. It's happened 2x and both times it was prior to the car being warmed up. Restart it and all is good. I made OP while at a car show, and coming home I got into it a...

    North Carolina Inspection

Thanks, I will say the collector car insurance on the Mustang is cheaper than NJ... about 1/2, but regular car insurance is not a bargain for 2-2014 luxury cars... On the Mustang I have Heacock and they grandfathered me in with some company called Infinity (I think) and I have 41K of full...

    North Carolina Inspection

I have a Saleen... so I sent in my letter stating production numbers, paperwork and pictures, and done!! It's a Collector Car registration, not Classic Car... It'sWonderful thing if you get the person at DMV that knows what the hell you are talking about. All you need to do every 2 years is...

    North Carolina Inspection

Folks, I have asked before, but it goes back a long way... i am now in Union County in North Carolina and will need to register my 2005 3v in NC... However, coming from NJ with a collector car registration, I have not had emissions tests. I have NO cats and rear O2 sensors are NOT turned on...

    whipple and fueling

I agree with everything said... Also make sure the injectors are not too high or the intake tube will not clear them. Stock whipple injectors for the HO system are 39's and some varieties are too tall.
