    Can it datalog events like knock? I'd be especially cautious since you're the only person I've seen use that tune on a 5.0.

    I have a stock(tune wise) 5.0 I really don't see the risk/reward to push the already low 400s HP NA 5.0 any further with more timing or leaner AFR. The stock tune can already determine the difference between 87 and 91 octane. It's not really that conservative(relatively speaking) to begin...

    What do you mean? This thread delivered valuable information. An unnamed tuner told someone that an unnamed dealership had 3 unconfirmed stock #8 failures, and it's a secret known only to Ford Corporate and all of the employees at that dealership...er and that tuner. Wait, what? :clap:

    5.0 died and will not start

    I'd still like clarification on how no one noticed 4 quarts of oil being burned in 100 miles. The effective octane rating of the gas would be ridiculously low and smoking like a mosquito truck from everything I've seen. I'd also wonder about the state of the cats after that.
