I had a gear whine issue. I set up my own gears with two different tru-tracs and could not get the whine out. I replace the gears with a brand new FRPP set, still whined. I got fed up and ordered a new diff from Tousley, set up with the same gears, and voila zero noise.

My Trutrac broke twice (worm gear failure both times) and always clicked on decel. All 3 I had you could turn one wheel and the other would not turn. I called Eaton and asked them about it. I could not wrap my head around how this was possible since I'd taken mine apart to see how it worked...
