his opinion was that the intake tube made no differance. He said the the Manifold and intake made 0 gains over the CJ manifold and intake.

I understand. I was just letting you know. I was working directly with Dave Born at Ford Racing for this build. He is the head engineer for everything Cobra Jet engine wise. So he knows what he is talking about. Yes my car is a 2013 Boss 302. With manual transmission.

Greg, The Ford Racing engineers, my tuner, and other people do not recommend it. My tuner Ryne said that the twin flows 1500 cfm more than enough for our motors.

This is the stock Boss 302 STB. It does not rub on the hood liner. Some people have had to run a 3mm spacer to clear the Cobra Jet intake but mine cleared with out a spacer.

When I was speaking with the Cobra Jet engineers at Ford Racing they said that the Mono blade is ideal for boosted applications. The did not recommend it for this build.
