Runs perfect. Longblock minus timing/valve covers, pulleys/accessories. Valve/timing covers are being kept on while in storage. Less than 50k miles. Mobil 1 full synthetic at every oil change.

A local guy was replacing his '07 motor with a crate motor. I had bent some rods on my original '08 motor (intercooler failure), and I was in a bind, so I bought this from him for a quick fix. He had less than 15k on his, and I ran it for 30k more before I rebuilt my original '08 motor a few weeks ago :)

$2,000. Local pickup preferred (So. Cal.).

Engine stand and hoist are available for $100 for both.

45,000 total miles? Any FI or nitrous used on this motor?

Yes, forced induction for most of its life. I just had it dyno'd before we re-built my original motor to use as a baseline. 3.5 inch pulley (7-11 psi).

Here are the DRF's from the Dynojet runs on 6/27/13. Rename the .TXT files to .DRF and they will open in WinPEP.

I thought longblock meant it was a complete engine

I think it's open to interpretation, because I've seen a whole range of included items over the years. But basically a shortblock is an assembled engine minus the heads and valve train.

Does it sound like I'm trying to hide anything?

You can also google 'long block vs short block' if you need more clarification.
