12 rib pulley needs the ATI dampener?

Just wanting to verify, sales guy at Procharger said the 12 rib crank pulley needs the AGI super dampener. Anyone else able to verify this? Just want to know before I spend another $400

I would think you'd need some aftermarket damper. Stock one aint gonna work

I'm assuming they don't make that cam lock deal for the 12-rib pulley. I know they don't have it for the cog pulley. I have an 8 rib crank pulley on my ProCharger kit, but I still went with the ATI balancer because I wanted a true bolt on crank pulley. Not that cam lock deal. The ATI balancer is nice.

Yea from what I'm seeing is it does need it. Unexpected expense

I bought my Procharger kit used and it came with the 12-rib setup. I had to get an ATI Superdamper for it to work, the stock balancer will not work. Here are the parts you'll need:

ATI Superdamper: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ati-918039/overview/ (stock size, there is also a 15% underdrive damper if you choose, I stayed with the stock diameter)

No problem! That ARP bolt just replaces factory damper bolt...it's torque to yield so the old one can't be reused. The 12-rib Procharger crank pulley mounts using the 3 12-point bolts on the front of the Superdamper.
