I stopped by strictly perf. Today and saw this car. Everything lined up well except te lines of the door which they said will be easily fixed by the body shop. I'm gonna wait and see the end result looks like. I hope it turns out well because I'm loving te new Saleen front end with hid projectors.

Nice, I wonder if you take the 05-09 fenders cut them in half where the wheel is and weld the front half of the 10 model fenders, will it be easier to blend the lines.

I think that's may be a bit more work. The way I see it on the car, they just need to add a little filler in the door and it would look good

Im with you seems less work than adding filler that will eventually crack/break off.

looks good, but i see the door line being a major issue. would be cool if the fronts and back were easily swapped but at the end of the day im sure it would be a lot easier just to buy a new car...

fiberglass fender solution. 100% fiberglass. I like to see this. With a 2010+ GT500 front end

fender like this:

Just curious why anyone would want to hack something like that together? I can understand a GT500 conversion, but this just doesn't look right.

I have mixed feelings on stuff like this. In some ways that car feels like the car that the 10+ should've been. Cool new front end with a non fugly tail. So I like.

But then the nagging part of my brain comes in and bitches about how this isn't a "real" mustang since it's kind of a franken car. Like an aborted concept. Curious but somehow...dirty. Not sure how else to characterize it.

A+ for effort regardless.

I can understand bringing the 2010+ interior into the 05-09, but the lines won't match up on the exterior with trying to blend two styles.

its something ive always thought about and considered but in the end, your either the 05-09 group or your not.. so id probably agree with you guys to drop into a 5.0 if you want the look so bad.. just my .02

I personally think its pretty cool because it most likely be unique without being tacky. I wish someone could produce fenders that would allow the front end to adapt correctly. 2010 GT500 front would be sick!

Haha 5.0 is out of the question with all the money I have dumped into this car. I guess I'm just bored looking to spend more money since my perf. Goals are absolutely complete with this car.

So does someone really make the fenders already?? If so, that would be a freaking huge save on labor and would actually look better.
