What's different? Other than the stock air box and the CMP's being built into the intake the 05-10 engines are the same.

2010 was plug and play from what I heard.I had to splice into the wire harness on mine when I installed it.Airbox gets routed differently on 05-09

I have a 2010 M90 on my Bullitt. Yes, the air intake is routed on the other side. This required me having to cut off the bottom of the airbox in order to get the hood shut, but that worked to my advantage as I have better air flow now. And if you cut the vanes out of the air intake tube you will have better airflow than any aftermarket CAI (requires a tune adjustment).

06RFSTANG, that's an 05-09 kit. This is a 2010 Kit.

For the airbox? No, that's all. I cut the vanes out the day I installed the smaller pulley on the blower and it threw lean codes on the way to my tuner's shop.

No for putting on a 2010 m90 onto an 05

Why won't it work on the 05? Is it because the coolant crossover is different? The 2010 4.6 motor is identical to the 09 motor so I guess compatibility depends on how far back you go.

M90 on the 05-09 routes air to the passenger side. The wiring harness must be modified to hook up the re-located TB electronics, as well as the MAF sensor. PCM must be recalibrated for either unit, though this step can be accomplished via a tuner/dyno. The cooling tube routing may be different as well. Check on the Roush website, as the directions for Install can be down loaded. Stock fule pump is adequet, but is operating at 100% near the upper rev limit. Highly recommend a GT500 pump swap, or at least a KB BAP install. You should be able to hit 375+rwhp with this kit in a car with A/T and stock pump. 425+rwhp with the BAP install.
I am currently at 385rwhp @ 375ftp torque, stock pump, A/T. Doing a smaller pulley swap, bigger TB, tensioner and idler: BAP already installed. New tune and Dyno date first week of April, after some paint mods. Will post new numbers then.
