My stock "T" shifter is looking real bad lately and have been wondering if the 2010 mustang automatic shifter will fit in place of the 2005-09 auto shifters (since the still use the 4.6 and auto tranny as the 05-09)(atleast i think). Any try this or know if it can be a direct replacement. Any info would be appreciated.

I wish I had an answer for you, but all I can say is I'd love that over the bulky thing in my 07.

Thanks guys I like the way the TCI shifter looks but i dont how id like they way it operates. Do you have to lift the front T-bar up everytime you shift into gear or is that a race option? I was kinda hoping someone seen or knew for sure the 10 shifter would fit into my 06. May have to find a wrecked one and take it out and try it myself.

The T-bar works just like the button on your stock shifter. You have to use it to get into or out of park, or into reverse or neutral.

Did anyone ever figure this out? I can get a stock 2012 shifter for pretty cheap if it will fit in my 07
