Finally one good thing about driving an Auto :omfg:

Don't forget, even with the higher drive line losses, they are typically faster in the 1/4 mile due to not having to take time to shift. Also a big plus.

True, and don't ask me how, but in my 13GT I claimed better timings from 0-60mph using select shifts. And I tried it many times, whenever I get the chance to lol

No offense, OP, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I've had my 2011 since May 2010 -- there were rumors about upcoming TSBs for every problem imaginable. Many of the promises for upcoming TSBs came straight from dealers, but never materialized.

Your source might mean well and, perhaps, he is right about the TSB. Other cases, I suspect the dealer sends folks home with future TSB promises to get them out of their hair.

Other times, I believe that TSBs are considered by Ford but never make it to the customers for any number of reasons.

Again, I write this for conversation, not to try and dick with your thread.

I literally was gonna write the same thing. I got mine may 2 2010 n went thru all of the supposed tsb nonsense.

No problems detected on my 6-spd manual 2013 with 1250 miles. Street driving and HPDE use only so far.
