So I just picked up this 2016 F150 as a daily driver, and to tow the mustang to the track, but decided I liked it too much to put that many miles on it, so I got a fusion too, and I'm going to build the truck into a modern Lightning.

It's a 2016 RC/SB 4x2 with the Coyote. It has 385hp stock, which is more than any year of Lightning from the factory, and it only weighs 3,950#.
Originally, I thought Whipple or Kenne Bell, but I fuckin love the turbos on my car. So I've decided on a single 88mm.

Here's the parts list:

Engine:
On3 88mm Ball Bearing
Hot side from CG Fabrication (T4 hot side kit made for Coyote swapped Fox bodies)
On3 4" Intercooler
On3 44mm Wastegate
On3 50mm BOV
On3 Turbo Blanket
On3 Turbo Filter
ID1000's (maybe 1300's)
MaxFlo BAP
4" single straight exhaust from turbo to in front of the right rear wheel
3.5" Cold Side Piping

Drivetrain:
Circle D 258mm Stage III Converter
Circle D Flex Plate
Ford 3.73's (maybe 3.55's) (has 3.31's in it stock)
Stock 9.75" E-Lock
Stock driveshaft

Suspension:
Belltech 3/5" drop
Calvert Racing Traction Bars

Wheels/Tires:
-KMC Slide 22x9.5 +15mm with Nitto 420S 285/40R22's

This complete list will cost less than $9k (not including tuning), but less than $40k for a 700+ rwhp hellcat killing pickem up, doesn't seem too bad.

Looks like a fun project. Did you weigh the truck to come up with 3950 lbs? According to Fords website the lightest 5.0 truck is the regular cab at 4250 lbs. The absolute lightest truck is the regular V6 non turbo at 4051 lbs. For a truck 4250 isn't bad though. I think my 2011 F250 6.7 is close to 8000 lbs lol.

Yea, I weighed it. It was sans spare tire, and with my temporary exhaust already installed. I'll take it back and get a picture of the scale.

Took it to the track last Friday to see what it would do pretty much stock. For some reason Norwalk had only prepped 1/8th mile, so that's all the computer was dialed to.

It did a 9.01 @ 79 mph in the 660, but was a sluggish start. It easily is in the 8's and in the 80's stock.

Also on that pass I stayed in it through the 1/4, and the speedo hit 100 before the finish line, so I'm pretty happy about that.

Last night I got my wheels and tires put on. I know for the money I could've gotten a lot of go-fast parts put on but I fuckin hate the stock wheels.

#3950!?

Granted its a single cab short box, thats still less than a challenger SRT8 if i'm not mistaken.
