I came with a low budget setup last year and did pretty well in the unlimited class. The thing i like about mine is that i drive it EVERYWHERE, track included and run it on radials. My car is over 4,000#'s so i wont be setting any records but oh well. I do have belt slip issues so i may just spray the piss out of it!!!

Just to throw around some numbers, if a person was to fly in what would be the best airport? I get stupid deals on rental cars so if it is a bit of a drive for a cheap/decent airport that is no big deal. Any decent/cheap hotels near the track? Really want to come out to check the top dogs in person and see what a fast coyote looks like

MIR is about an hour and a half from BWI. So you could always fly in and drive down.

BWI is where its at. I think there are multiple direct SW flights from Denver to BWI; there were back in DEC when I did it. As others said, about 1.5hrs rental facility to track. Only crap shoot about BWI is that the rentals are a complete offsite facility(nice) but there is a shuttle that takes you over there.

Terry, you should def try to bring your car. You're one of the top dogs; you gotta come!

This weekend rolls into August at work. So we are starting a weekend short out of the gate.

This month was very good, so hopefully next month will follow suit.

As for the whole street car debate. I get hasseled all the time about my "stickers",

I trailer to the NMRA Races out of town, but when your 6 8 14 hours from home, you almost have too.

I may drive to bowling green though, 4 hours, race, hopefully get that magical 8, and drive home.
