Ill keep an eye out on the weather. If it stays how there saying then ill see about moving the date to the 12th. Ill have to let everyone know, but for now its still the 13th until we move closer and see if the weather changes or not.

I wudlnt worry about the 30% chance so much, its the temp im most concerned about. I went to a local cruise on Sunday morning, it was about 30 degrees, i lined up with another S197 and we took off on three honks, we both were running decent All Season and we both had zer0 traction.

The Tempature for that day says 48 degrees. So thatll be okay we will just need to warm our tires up a little more. Im fine with 48 degrees b/c thats good for our cars and especially the F/I guys. Cools the engine down better.

Ok everyone, 3 days till the 13th. The forecast says chance of snow showers later in the day 30%. So maybe it will hold off. That 30% is low so it should be a good day.

Remember if its good weather me and my GT will be with my brother and his Red SVTLightning with his forum members. We usualy park by the race gas pumps. Look for me over there and park with us

Can't give you a definite yes.

It's a 45min drive, each way, and the prospect of driving the GT in a wintery mix never sat well with me.. even before I mod'd her. ..and if I can't get a friend to come up with their truck I'll have to drive on the MT DRs!

If the track opens I might go up Sat and play Sunday by ear.

Sure, if they blow the forecast and it's pristine out, we can pack up the cars early and make the ride. But the chances look low folks. Think we just need to get over the next 3 month hump, and get cracking in March. I'm looking forward to continue the build in my ice cold garage....good luck to you all Sunday.

Saturday, unfortunately, is already booked with activities. If it wasn't we'd be packing up the cars tonight for the trip. So that's why we were hoping Sunday's weather would hold--I was going to stay overnight and make it a full day of racing, eating and drinking!

When Bill at CJPonyparts heard I wasn't racing, he's going to borrow my Bogart set and see if he can't get that 12.00 at Cecil tomorrow that's been eluding him. At the very least his front end should go airborne!
