Just looked on TR and neither the Rival or Rival S are available in a 295/35-18. Balls.

I was looking for an affordable alternative given that I'm used to paying Conti DW prices for the same size.

I more meant BFG. I like TR and buy all my tires there, usually through forum click-throughs if available.

Whats the shelf life of these tires, say if they were carefully stored indoors. I'm referring to brand new. Can you stockpile them...for future use, like 1-5 years ?

I'd say yes. That mold release ought to seal them in pretty well.

But how in the hell can you keep tires 5 years????

Wasn't sure which thread to resurrect, but seriously considering a set of these (Rival S) to Hillclimb on this year. Anyone have any back to back comparisons with a Hoosier A7 on a 60 second course? Thinking the Rival may be faster in the road surface we run on than the A7 especially once worn in.

For those that have used the Rival and Rival S, how much more grip does the S offer and how much faster does it wear?
