Blacked out my hood...what do you guys think?

My car had dual stripes on it when I bought it 3 or so years ago. Earlier this year I removed them as they were starting to fade and peal slightly. I had been contemplating re-striping (only wider) or maybe just leaving it plain.

Here is a before picture with the stripes. The next pic is with the hood blacked out. I used Plasti-Dip to black it out...didn't want a permanent change until I was sure what I wanted. I know there are a few streaks...it wasn't completely dry when I snapped the pics.

What do you guys think?

I really like the blacked out hood. I may just buy a cowl hood and have it painted to match, but that decision will come later. I know I can get mine painted for cheap...just looking for a few opinions.

It would look a whole lot better if you had some red lights in the interior that pulsed to the beat of a dub step song...........just sayin.

AS a matter of fact...I did JUST convert my interior lighting over to red!! But no pulsing....LOL

Omg... Lol I just did this to my friends car a few months ago because his stripes were pooly painted from previous owner lol

We installed some halos he wanted at the same time, along with painting his pony emblem

I like the black stripes on your guys color green. Looks sick!

I had a NIB Roush scoop that I contemplated putting on it. I sold it...thinking about going with a 2 inch cowl hood with the center painted black.

looks really good, have you looked at Trufiber's hoods they come in fiberglass and carbon fiber, the cowl hoods are 2" and 3"
