Your HP barely falls off near 7k and 4500-5100 rpm is your chunky torque area.
3-4 should be like 6300 or so to fall back into that area.

I'd go...
1-2: 6800-7000
2-3: 6800
3-4: 6300

You have any simple next gear RPM calculator?

I can type one into this program (it's part of a bigger program I have installed), do you have 4.10's?

Yes. Tire size is 305/35R18 which I guess is a 26.40 diameter according to a calculator I used.

This is what I got with what I think would be good shift points for your car based on your dyno sheet.

You can probably take 3-4 to 6500 but it would be nearing where your torque starts to fall off, we want to be at the peak or just before the peak.

I'm not sure if this will make any sense at all , but one thing to keep in mind is location.
I don't just run at a local track, I run all over the country, at different elivations.
I notice at some tracks that the car pulls harder , longer thru the rpm.
And some tracks it just feels like it doesnt pull at all past 6500.
Has anyone else noticed this, or is it in my head.
I'm sure the tune is not effected by elivation.
What do you guys think?

I've always gone off sound when shifting at the track. That's when I happened to look down and noticed that I was shifting a bit low. :horseshit:

Time to change some things in the future it sounds like. I remember back in 07 I tried shifting around 6500 and didn't see any gains, but that was also before it had a tune and with 3.31's. After I get another set of tires I'll head out and expereriment with it.

Higher altitude = more dense air. It certainly wouldn't suprise me...

hmmm.... fdjizm, I'm interested in putting up my info and dyno graph (if you'll run it through your program), should we start a new thread so we don't derail this one?
