Thats insane that you are lifting the front that high with only tires and a tune.. Cool photos btw.. We were just out there last month.. Drifting tho.. All the drag racers hated us.. lol

There was a mixup and the track owner told us we could come and set up our track on friday night for saturday but didnt inform us that test and tune would still be running..

I purchased some racestars 15x10's and 15x3.75. I really need some 315's in a 28" tall tire (4.10s) so i can make it to end in 4th gear. If you see any good deals on them let me know so we can go !!!

I am running 305/45/18's which are 28.8" tall and I go through the traps at 6400 to 6500 with 4.30 gears so I would think a 27 or 28 inch tire would work well with your 4.10s.

I'm very close to hitting the limiter in fourth gear (hitting it right past the finish) but that's on my 26" et streets. I think a 28 will be fine for you. Where are you planning to purchase your front runner tires? I think I can get a good picture of me pulling the tire if I can get a pass on some haha.

I dont think i will purchase front runners until after christmas, i ran out of $$ with all the expenses this time of the year. I am loooking for some rears though so i can test out my setup before i leave for christmas. Should run almost $400 for rear tires

When I ran the 11.6 I was leaving at around 1800 with the stock convertor and managed a best of 1.83 60' on the Nito 555R's, however since installing my Circle D convertor I could do no better than 2.2 leaving around 3000 with the DR's and a personal best of 1.57 on a set of MT ET drag slicks. I am going to be pulling the trans this weekend to rebuild it with PA and TCI parts, and then am hoping to run a 10.90 or so by changing a few things in the tune. My car has been shifting at 6200 and going thru the traps at 6400-6500 at around 120, but I believe by raising the shift points it will pick up both ET and MPH.
