I decided to take the car for some baseline runs before I begin to get some more mods on it. Now to defend myself a bit...this is the FIRST TIME EVER for me to ever bring a manual to the track and I have only been driving the standard since the beginning of the month on a regular basis.
I am now a bit more confident that I can get much better times on my next outing.

My first pass went pretty well on the launch, however when I hit second the car began to spin hard, to the point that it hit the limiter a few times so I had to ease out of it.
60' 2.198
330' 5.926
1/8 8.855 @ 85.91
1000' 11.309
1/4 13.394 @ 102.70
The low mph was obviously the result of trying to keep it out of the wall haha. So now I had the cherry popped so surely it could only get better.

Next pass was not too pretty on the short end. Ended up spinning hard in first, when I shifted to second it was the same thing--only spinning instead of going:damnit:
60' 2.309
330' 5.874
1/8 8.692 @ 88.13
1000' 11.096
1/4 13.099 @ 112.83
The spinning led to a great MPH atleast; if only the car had a driver haha.

Made a few more 13.0-13.1 passes at 111-112 and decided to let the car cool down since I was hotlapping the hell out of it.

Waited about 30 minutes and had my best pass of the night.
60' 2.025
330' 5.579
1/8 8.398 @ 87.98
1000' 10.806
1/4 12.822 @ 111.07

so I finally got in the 12s so I am excited. I have to minimize the wheelspin on the shifts since I know its eating et up, however I didn't even lower the air pressure.

Appreciate it guys.
I went to a local 1/8th mile track (HMP) and ran a few more times tonight.

Ended up running a 8.250 @ 88.7 tonight so seat time is helping.

Wow you are a fast learner, and have a strong running car. I have found with the 2011 GT it seems like it is easier to control wheelspin and pedal in first than in 2nd. Its almost surprising how much it wants to spin the tires going into 2nd gear and not even power shifting it still does.

Awesome runs man!! I plan on hitting up the track in the next week or two. I usually go to HMP (1/8) since its closer to my house (45 mins). HRP (1/4) is about 1:15 hours from my house but i want to get an official 1/4 time on the new setup. As soon as i get tires we can hit it up!

That's on factory tires right? And is that before or after your tune? I was able to squeeze out a 13.20 @ 108 on my first pass. I've made a total of four runs, that was the best. That was in July and I haven't made it back since. LOL

I feel that I really need a jlt and 93 tune. Car would be great on radials!

I have a guy in my club that got a JLT and with catback and can tune form BBR he put down 404rwhp!! Later installed a X pipe, took it to the track and ran 11.72. I am sure the vid is up here somewhere.

This was on the factory 18s which are pretty tricky to get to hook, mostly on the 1-2 shift.
This was on a 87 tune with an sct. Im going to shoot for 12.5s with a BBR 93 tune on my next outing! Bone stock other than the programmer and didn't even touch air pressure.

The D/A is looking GREAT in my area, so if it will hook I am going to post up some killer numbers for only driving a standard for less than a month :)

2 days after my first outing, I improved my 1/8th by .148 and nearly an entire mph so with this great air, the times should be good. I need to find someone at the track to loan me some D/Rs now!

I still can't seem to 60' the car like some of you guys can. I managed a 1.96 tonight however I managed to miss third afterwards.

Alright I figured just updating here instead of making a new thread would be alright rather than filling the board up.

Have a 93 octane tune now and went back with et streets. Those are the ONLY mods on the car (ford air filter, stock exhaust, stock air pressure in front, no CAI, etc) and came home with
